Interests and Hobbies

Hobbies bring a welcome change to our mundane routine. They allow us to keep a balance between busy moments and free time. The meaning of word 'hobby' stretches beyond usual leisure activities such as reading, watching TV and so on. In fact, there is a very long list of hobbies and interests to suit each of our tastes.

Some people find relaxation in volunteering, craftwork, bird watching, playing or watching sports, going to flea markets/car boots sales, walking in the park, singing in a choir, or simply going out for a walk or a bike ride. Such activities may help people live healthier and recover better from illness.

Take a moment to have a look at the interesting, carefree opportunities we can offer. Its all about having fun, like this guy!

Singing is good for you; join a workplace choir!

Singing is not only a lot of fun but also gives you confidence, relieves stress and is great exercise for your heart and lungs which in turn gets the brain working. Performing with others in a choir at your workplace is a great way to start singing.

Music therapists work with a wide range of age ranges in a variety of settings. Music therapy can be particularly effective for people with bereavement issues, problems relating to abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Depression. A carefully planned assessment will be carried out to ensure that your staff or your school is receiving the best possible service.
