If you are interested in becoming a Health & Wellbeing Champion for your school please read through the Role Profile and Person Specs below. Once you and your head teacher are happy you can fulfill the role, download and complete the consent form and email it to Karen Keast.

What does the training day cover?
The training day is designed to be a fun yet informative exploration which enables Champions to understand the expectations and responsibilities of the role and how they can fulfill these expectations within their already busy schedule.
How to signpost to local health services
What health campaigns to promote
How this can be done successfully in the school environment
Effective communication within brief interventions and peer support
Sharing ideas with other Champions, finding out what works well
Lots of freebies and resources to get you started
